Stampy started with a simple question: what if exploring Malta and Gozo felt like a game? Not a tour or a checklist, but a real competition…with points, prizes and a reason to go somewhere new.

We’ve divided our islands into thousands of small tiles. To stamp one, you have to get out there and physically visit it. No armchair exploring, no stamping Malta from the sofa. Stampy is built for feet on the ground.

Malta may be small, but it’s full of corners we pass every day without really noticing: quiet streets, hidden lanes, coastal paths, village squares and spectacular views. Stampy gives you a reason to explore them, take a different route and turn an ordinary walk into a mission.

Every calendar month brings a fresh season, a new leaderboard and another chance to get ahead. Stampy is built in Malta for locals, visitors and anyone ready to see more of the islands - one stamp at a time.

1. Open the map
Malta and Gozo are divided into thousands of small tiles, each waiting to be stamped – have a look at what’s claimed and what’s fresh.

2. Get stamping
You can only stamp a tile when you are physically inside it and Stampy can confirm your location via geolocation. You need to be logged in to stamp.

3. Tap to stamp
Once your location has been confirmed, hit the Stamp button. You can stamp every tile once during each monthly season.

Scoring
Being first matters. The first player to stamp a tile that month earns 2 points. Everyone else can still stamp it for 1 point, so no part of the island is ever locked away by another player.

Seasons and Leaderboards
Every calendar month is a new season. Monthly scores and stamping eligibility reset, giving everyone a fresh chance to explore, collect points and climb the leaderboard. You can also unlock badges as you hit milestones along the way.

Prizes
The top players can win real prizes. Check the Prizes section to see what’s available during the current season and how many winning places are up for grabs.

Play Safe
No tile is ever worth taking a risk for. Never trespass, cross barriers, enter restricted areas or put yourself - or anyone else – in danger. Stay aware of traffic and your surroundings, follow signs and local laws, and never use Stampy while driving. If a tile cannot be reached safely and legally, leave it unstamped. There are thousands more waiting.
